Sarawak recorded the highest project volume nationally with 84 projects, followed by Sabah (66) and Penang (65), reflecting strong CRC capacity in these regions.
Projects by Collaborating Agency
KKM represents the largest share of collaborating agencies at 50.3% of all 334 recorded project collaborations, followed by non-KKM partners at 27.8%.
Top 10 CRCs by Total Projects
CRC HUS (Hospital Umum Sarawak) leads all CRCs with 50 total projects — 32% more than the next highest ranked CRC in 2025.

ICR leads all entities with 35 total presentations in 2025, followed by CRC HSB (26) and CRC HUS (24), demonstrating strong research dissemination from central and East Malaysian CRCs.

Poster presentations dominate across both venues — 70.5% of local (110 of 156) and 62.5% of international (45 of 72) presentations in 2025.
Local vs International Presentations — Top Active CRCs
CRC HSB leads international presentations with 16 of 72 total (22.2%), while ICR contributes the most local presentations with 28, representing 17.9% of all 156 local presentations.
