ICR is one of the research institutes under the umbrella of National Institutes of Health, Ministry of Health, Malaysia.
ICR aims to become a leading clinical research institution in Asia. ICR plays a crucial role in advancing medical knowledge and improving healthcare through high-quality clinical research.
The core business of the Institute for Clinical Research (ICR) in Malaysia revolves around several key areas:

ICR comprises of 4 research centres namely Centre for Clinical Epidemiology (CCE), Centre for Clinical Outcome Research (CCORe), Centre for Clinical Trial (CCT), and Centre for Coordination of Clinical Research Network (CCRN). ICR is also supported by 2 research units - Digital Health Research and Innovation Unit (DHRi) and Strategic Governance & Management Unit (SIGMA).
The 37 Network of CRCs strengthens ICR’s ability to conduct high-quality, impactful clinical research by providing a structured, collaborative, and resource-rich environment.
Each centre and unit consists of a Head of Centre and head of units, Research Officer(s), any combination of medical personnel (Medical Officer, Pharmacists, Nurses) and an Administrative Assistant.

We are operating from Monday to Friday, 8am till 5pm
ICR is under the purview of Ministry of Health, Malaysia and welcomes any application/enquiry. If you are currently not in the government service, applications must be made through the public service commission / Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Awam (SPA). ICR do offer short-term contract posts as research assistants when necessary. Applicants who have submitted their resumes will be screened first before called for interview.
