WhoWe Are
The idea of Clinical Research Centre Hospital Serdang (CRC HSIS) was originally introduced in 2008. Boasting just 2 staffs on its first day of operation, CRC Unit was officially opened on 1st Dec 2010, under the care of the Director Hospital and the Director of ICR. It is currently led by the Head, Prof. Dr. Goh Bak Leong, a Senior Consultant Nephrologist. He leads CRC to focus on human subject clinical research in order to speed the translation of clinical research findings into new cures, new therapies and new clinical practice guidelines. CRC Unit functions as a clinical research arm of the Hospital Sultan Idris Shah Serdang. Our mission is to improve the quality of people’s lives through clinical research program. In our core research program, we seek to improve people’s health by supporting physician-scientists conducting clinical trials.
