Established in November 2012, the Clinical Research Centre Hospital Kuala Lumpur (CRC HKL) was founded to provide critical support for the hospital’s diverse research activities, including Investigator Initiated Research (IIR) and Industry Sponsored Research (ISR), as well as to offer comprehensive training services. With a vision of steering Hospital Kuala Lumpur toward becoming a leading clinical research institution in Malaysia, CRC HKL is dedicated to improving patient health outcomes through ethical and high-quality clinical research. Its objectives include ensuring that all ISR and IIR research complies with Malaysian GCP standards and coordinating research activities to meet these ethical and quality benchmarks, while also providing essential training related to research at the hospital level.
