The Clinical Research Centre Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah, Alor Star (CRC HSBAS), also known as CRC Kedah was established in Kedah since 2006 as part of the Network of Clinical Research Centres, Ministry of Health (MOH). CRC HSBAS is responsible for conducting quality and ethical research to improve patient outcome in Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital, Alor Star.
CRC Kedah strongly supports both Investigator Initiated Research (IIR) and Industry Sponsored Research (ISR) throughout the years. With the increased number of CRC staff and strong support by the Kedah State Health Department, we hope to see an increasing number of IIR as well as ISR for the whole state of Kedah. In the mean time, CRC Kedah is still actively maintaining the National Cancer Patient Registry: Colorectal Cancer (NCPR-CC) and the National ORL Registry (NORL)
